So, my entry title might make me sound philosophical, but in reality, I’m your average small town girl who moved from rural northern Michigan to rural northeastern Iowa three years ago. After spending some time at a school a bit south of Fayette,  the opportunity to join Upper Iowa University was too good to let pass.  So here I sit, in my second floor office in the Advancement and Alumni Center on the UIU Fayette campus with two new windows and countless new opportunities.

My business is all about people. Meeting people, learning about people, sharing with people, connecting people, educating people and helping people.  You are one of those people.  I do hope that this is the last post that I write about me.  I just don’t like talking much about myself.  I’m looking forward to introducing you to the people that are UIU. Together we will learn about our Upper Iowa University family and connect with each other to continue to achieve great things individually and collectively.

Nominate someone you would like to have profiled – an alumnus, faculty member, person in the history of UIU, a coach, an athlete – you tell me – who would you like to know more about?

I hope to see you through my window soon so I can have the opportunity to learn from you and about you!

See you soon!

Holly

Hello:I’d like to nominate Tammy Jelinek as one of our distinguished MBA alumni in Madison!Tammy works at Wells Fargo Bank in Madison, and has always been a strong supporter of our Center, and our MBA program. I believe she is a very deserving candidate. What further details do you need from me?
